Meet Natalie, London’s Expert Celebrant
I am Natalie, a trained Celebrant. Using my writing and delivery skills to officiate ceremonies such as wedding ceremonies, renewal of vows, commitment ceremonies and naming ceremonies. I am based in London, using the capital for inspiration and as a backdrop to wonderfully joyous events.
My Journey
At the start of 2024 I attended a training course with Civil Ceremonies Ltd. I completed the course and obtained a NOCN Level 3 Diploma in Naming and Couples (RQF) I have always wanted to be a Celebrant, having started my working life in entertainment and events.
As a creative, perceptive, and forward-thinking manager of events, I bring a cheerful, sociable, and polite attitude to every celebration. My education includes Gold Medal Honours in Speech and Drama from the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art, and I am a proud member of The Association of Independent Celebrants Ltd (AOIC).
A Lifelong Connection to London
I’ve lived in London all my adult life. I partied my way through my twenties in the city, I worked hard as the sun rose, and the sun set on the skyline during my thirties, I married and saw the capital through my youngsters’ eyes in my forties and I remain in love with the hustle and bustle of every street, alley and courtyard here. I have been working hard in a full-time job in the media and have now reached a time in my life when I have space to pursue this passion and dream. With a deep understanding of how London lives, breathes, and celebrates, coupled with my knowledge of what makes people truly happy, I am dedicated to crafting memorable and joyful occasions that reflect both the spirit of the city and the essence of each individual.
My Inspiration
London and life are what inspired me to become a Celebrant. Great hardship can be found in the city’s steep history, and continues to be evident in modern times. But I see the joy in everything that sparkles here; from the gleaming windows of the tallest buildings to the lights that hang over mystical doorways. There is an exquisite beauty in the flowers that adorn the royal parks, and even when it rains here, there is romance to be found in the warmth of London’s pubs and restaurants. From intimate gatherings, to grand events... I believe London is the best city in the world to celebrate in.
Bringing Spirit to Your Special Moments
As an Executive Producer of hundreds of television programmes, I have often seen the metropolis through a lens, heard its sounds through an amplifier. To me, there is no better place to celebrate. And so, when I decided to train, to help YOU celebrate, I did it with London in my heart.
Crafting Unforgettable Occasions
I concentrate on occasions that take place in the grand surroundings or intimate corners of this splendid capital. My network is vast, with my connections being strongest in TV, media, law, finance & sport. Before I became The City Celebrant, I trained in film and drama. That led to me attending and organising a lot of events. I continue to write or oversee countless TV scripts and consistently deliver speeches with confidence.
